This series is an homage to the Divine Feminine. Through the Dusshera and Diwali season this year, I started working on these little talismanic pieces. Pondering the various moods we project onto divinity I especially love the iconography of Pujo and Navratri, with the goddess in all of her incarnations. I especially adore Bengali icons, the oversize dark eyes of the all seeing feminine, sometimes shining in achievement, sometimes in mischief, sometimes meditative, sometimes compassionate.
